1: To acquire excellence in civil engineering education and professional practices.
2: To carry out analysis and design of civil engineering works to find technically sound, economically feasible and socially acceptable solutions.
3: To develop the professional skills, team work and self-employment culture among the engineering graduates.

Program Outcomes (POs) (What she/he will be to do at the entry point of industry soon after the diploma programme)

1. Basic knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering to solve the engineering problems
2. Discipline knowledge: An ability to apply discipline – specific knowledge to solve engineering problems.
3. Experiments and practice: An ability to plan and perform experiments and practices and to use the results to solve engineering problems.
4. Engineering Tools: Apply appropriate technologies and tools with an understanding of the limitations.
5. The engineer and society: Demonstrate knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to engineering practice.
6. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge and need for sustainable development.
7. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

To Create Civil Engineers with good technical education for economical and efficient Civil Engineering s0olutions.
To  contribute for societal development through technical education in the field of Civil Engineering.
To impart practical knowledge through continuous industry institute interactions.


1: Utilize principles, methods, software’s and codes of practices for planning, analysis and designs of Civil Engineering systems and environmental engineering system.
2: Prepare detailed drawings, cost estimates and reports for execution of construction works.
